Step into a world where time flows more slowly, and nature and history walk hand in hand. Mali Brijun, a hidden gem of Brijuni National Park, opens its doors to a new excursion season – and invites you to become part of a story you won’t forget.
Fort Minor – Guardian of the Past
At the very top of the island awaits the monumental Austro-Hungarian fort Minor, built at the end of the 19th century. Impressive military architecture, the silence of stone corridors, and breathtaking views – this is just the beginning of your journey.
Kamen Most Trail – A Path Through the Heart of the Island
The excursion also includes a guided tour along the Kamen Most trail, which leads through the most beautiful natural landscapes of Mali Brijun. You’ll walk past remnants of military structures, dry stone walls, and peaceful forest paths that hide rich flora and fauna. Along the way, you'll learn how the island functioned within the military system, how nature regenerated, and how it thrives today without permanent residents.
This trail reveals the island’s quiet corners that you don’t see in pictures – only in person, at your own pace.
The excursion includes:
• Boat ride from Fažana to Mali Brijun
• Expert-guided tour through Fort Minor
• Guided walk along the Kamen Most trail
• Free time for walking and enjoying nature
Dates and Reservations
The first excursions of the season start on April 26, 2025.
Departure is from Fažana port, and the number of participants is limited to preserve nature and ensure quality of experience.
