Photography and Filming in Brijuni National Park

Request for Photography and Filming for Commercial Purposes

A request for filming and/or photographing for commercial purposes in the Brijuni National Park must be submitted at least 15 days before the start of filming and/or photographing. The request, which will be considered by the Public Institution Brijuni National Park, must contain the following:

Full name, address, and contact information of the responsible individual or legal entity planning the filming and/or photographing
Reason and purpose of the filming
List of individuals in the filming crew (names and surnames)
Planned date of arrival and time of filming and/or photographing

Permission for Aerial Photography / Filming - for Legal and Natural Persons

After obtaining permission for photography / filming from the Public Institution Brijuni National Park, an additional permit from the State Geodetic Administration is required for aerial photography / filming.

In accordance with the current legal regulations, aerial filming of public spaces / surfaces without a valid permit for aerial filming in the territory of the Republic of Croatia is not allowed.

To obtain the permit, one must be registered for aerial filming activities (NKD 74.20) either as a legal entity or as a natural person, where natural persons are considered trades registered for this type of activity.

After the filming is completed (after obtaining the permit), all recorded material must be submitted for review to the State Geodetic Administration. If permission for the use of certain footage is not granted, such footage cannot be used/published.
