EMSEA Conference 2024

EMSEA, the European Marine Science Educators Association, is an international organization that brings together experts, educators, and enthusiasts dedicated to sharing knowledge about the marine environment. The aim of EMSEA is to foster understanding, conservation, and sustainable use of marine ecosystems through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and innovative educational methods. The organization regularly provides a platform for collaboration among its members through conferences, workshops, webinars, and other educational events.

Brijuni National Park has been actively participating in EMSEA workshops and webinars for many years, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and the development of educational activities. These initiatives not only enhance the professional competencies of participants from Brijuni National Park but also facilitate the sharing of innovative approaches to educating the public on the importance of preserving marine and coastal ecosystems.

One of the highlights of the collaboration between Brijuni National Park and EMSEA is participation in the annual EMSEA conference. The 2024 EMSEA conference will take place in September in Zadar, Croatia. During the upcoming event, Brijuni National Park will once again present its efforts through a poster titled “Educational Activities in Brijuni National Park”, showcasing key initiatives, programs, and approaches aimed at raising awareness about biodiversity and environmental conservation.

Through its participation in EMSEA, Brijuni National Park reaffirms its commitment to the mission of knowledge transfer, raising public awareness, and supporting global efforts to conserve marine and coastal environments. Such collaboration is crucial for connecting experts and jointly addressing the challenges associated with environmental conservation.
