Surrounded by the natural beauty of Brijuni National Park, learn the basics of golf while enjoying the fresh air and peaceful surroundings, guided by a professional golf instructor and assistants. This is an ideal opportunity for everyone, regardless of prior experience, to become acquainted with this noble sport, relishing the perfect blend of recreation and nature. Play golf in the company of deer, mouflons, rabbits, and peacocks. Veliki Brijun offers a unique setting for golf – from views of the azure Adriatic Sea to the island's lush landscapes, each lesson becomes a special experience.

The Golf Mini School is held free of charge at the golf practice area.
Golf equipment is provided, so there is no need to bring your own.
For more information and to meet the golf instructor, visit the reception at Hotel Istra-Neptun on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00 AM.
The program runs twice a week during September and October, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.

Golf on Brijuni Since 1922

Golf has been played on Brijuni since 1922, on a unique golf course that once held the prestigious title of one of the largest and, of course, most beautiful golf courses of its time. Located in the peaceful northeastern part of the island, the course features 18 holes (PAR 71, SSS 71) with a length of 5,492 meters (ladies' length – 4,937 meters). The course is accessible to all players, from casual golfers to advanced players and professionals. The wide fairways are forgiving of various mistakes, with hazards including bunkers, groves, individual trees, and water obstacles.

From its inception, the Brijuni golf course has been recognized and celebrated in the sports world for its uniqueness. So, when you step onto the first tee, forget about your handicap and the score you need to achieve. Relax and enjoy the enchanting layout that captivated European nobility hundreds of years ago.
